I was educated in ceramics 1990-94 and made a master in german literature in 1999. Since 2001 I have my own pottery, where I throw all objects (and deform most of them) – every piece being unique. My aim is to make objects that balance between mastering and letting go through improvising. My main tools are my hands, also in the process of glazing. I am represented in the collections of The Museum of Applied Art, Trondheim, The National Museum in Oslo and in the art collections of the city of Trondheim.

Important Exhibitions: The Annual Norwegian Crafts Exhibitions in 2010, 2014 and 2015; participant at Collect, London 2014; Milan, Oslo and Berlin 2016 (“structure”); The Collective Design Fair, New York 2016 ; Trondheim and Krakow 2016-2017 (“the logic of the local”). I have received grants from the funds of the Norwegian state for artists support twice: In 2011 for a study to New Zealand and 2015 one years working grants.
